Question I have registered an account, but I have no idea what is my SecurDS Password?
Answer SecurDS use SecurPAP One-Time Password (OTP) token for your login.  Once your registered, SecurPAP will send you a Cue-Card to your email which contain 40 OTPs. You can use these 40 OTPs sequentially for your login.  Other than the Cue-Card, you can download and setup a SecurPAP software token on your Android/iOS/Windows phone.  For the download and setup procedure, please refer to www.securpap.com for more information.
 

Question What is my username?
Answer Your username is exactly the same as your registered (or primary) email.
 

Question I forget my password.  What can I do?
Answer As mention above, SecurDS use SecurPAP token to generate One-Time Password (OTP) for your login.  You don’t have to remember your password but required to have a Cue Card or setup software token for the OTP generation. SecurPAP allow you to re-request a Cue-Card or re-associate a software token, please refer to www.securpap.com for more information.
 

Question I lost my Cue Card / Mobile phone and unable to access to my token. What can I do to recover?
Answer SecurPAP allows you to re-request a Cue-Card or re-associate a software token (please refer to www.securpap.com).  Once you have requested a new Cue-Card or setup a new token, you previous token will be revoked and cannot be used.
 

Question I forget to bring with my mobile phone for login.  What can I do?
Answer You can request a new Cue-Card from www.securpap.com.  The Cue-Card contains 40 One-Time Passwords for your access.
 

Question My digital certificate is expired.  What can I do?
Answer You can buy a new digital certificate (PKCS#12) from a recognized Certificate Authority, and import the certificate through the SecurDS PC client.  Please note that every SecurDS subscriber will be generated with a SecurDS signed digital certificate for trial purpose.  The certificate will be renewed once upon your next subscription.
 

Question My digital certificate is not shown in the certificate panel.  What happen?
Answer Please note that if your digital certificate has expired, it will be moved from the Active certificate to Expired certificate inside the certificate panel.  Check that if your certificate is there.  If so, you have to buy a new certificate again.
 

Question What is the size of the image I can use in my signature?
Answer The signature image recommends in 2:1 scale (ie. 350x150 pixels) and maximum of 1MB file size. You can upload your signature image in BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF or TIFF format.
 

Question Can I change the name of the signature image?
Answer The signature image you created does not require a name. Besids you may change the name of your created signature in the signature listing, right-click a signature and choose Rename Signature in the SecurDS PC client.
 

Question How many signature I can create for myself?
Answer You may have maximum 3 signature images and 10 created signatures.
 

Question How many digital certificate I can import to my account?
Answer SecurDS allows you to store at most 15 certificates online regardless the certificates' status (including expired or revoked). You can manage your imported certificates from Setup->Certificate in the SecurDS PC client.
 

Question Can I sign my documents using multiple identities which represent different organizations?
Answer Yes.  Since you can import multiple digital certificates into your SecurDS account, you can use different digital certificate to sign document on behalf of the corresponding organization.
 

Question My documents need to be signed my various parties.  Can I sign documents multiple times using different signatures?
Answer Yes.  SecurDS support multiple signatures. You can sign document after it is signed by others.
 

Question What do I need before I can use SecurDS?
Answer SecurDS can run on PC, iPad(iOS) and Android.  To run SecurDS on PC, you require Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 with .Net framework 3.5 or above. To view signed documents you can use most of the PDF reader on the market. To sign documents you require a valid personal certificate in PKCS11/PKCS12 format.  To run SecurDS on iPad, you need iOS 5.0 or above. To run SecurDS on Android, you need version 2.3 or above.
 

Question How much does SecurDS cost?
Answer SecurDS pricing is available US Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, and Renminbi. For the most up-to-date cost and purchasing of SecurDS, please visiting the Purchase page.
 

Question What does purchasing SecurDS provide me with?
Answer Purchasing SecurDS entitles you to digitally sign documents with the SecurDS service. Members still need to apply for and purchase a Personal Certificate provided by any of the leading Certificate Authorities like VeriSign, eTrust, RSA.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Members who are discovered to be using SecurDS in violation to Terms and Services are subject to be removed with no prior warning by iASPEC.
 

Question Where do I get a certificate?
Answer Upon the first time you access SecurDS, a self-signed certificate will be generated for you automatically for trial purpose.
For better legal validity, it is advised to purchase a Personal Certificate from any of the leading Certificate Authorities (CA's) like VeriSign, E-Trust, RSA, etc.
For Hong Kong residents, Personal Certificates are issued by the Hong Kong SAR government and can be purchased from Hong Kong E-Postal Certificate operator, Certizen Limited.
 

Question What kind of certificate do I need?
Answer You will need a Personal Certificate in PKCS11/PKCS12 format in order to use SecurDS. Cost and charges for the Personal Certificate are applied by the Certifcate Authorities and are not covered by SecurDS.
 

Question How can I view digital signatures on my Android phone/tablet?
Answer You will need to install a PDF viewer from the Google Play Store. The following Android PDF viewers are recommended, as they have been tested to work with digital signatures created by SecurDS:
